Cyprus Transport does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data.

Location

The app can use your device location for one purpose only: showing your position on the map so you can find nearby bus stops. Location data is processed entirely on your device and never leaves it. Location access is optional — the app is fully functional without it.

Network requests

The app downloads public transport data (timetables, stops, routes and live vehicle positions) directly from the open-data services of the Cyprus Ministry of Transport (Motion, motionbuscard.org.cy) and current weather from Open-Meteo.com. These requests contain no personal data and no identifiers. There are no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no tracking and no third-party services beyond the two data sources above.

Data stored on your device

Downloaded timetables, your favorite stops and your language preference are stored locally on your device only. Deleting the app deletes them.
